  • Hard times are among life's unavoidable facts. Yet it is often our acts-how we respond to them that make hard times harder, draining our lives of meaning, hope, love, and joy. To learn how to face such times, we may turn to the Bhagavad Gita. Yet its philosophy can sometimes seem impressive but inaccessible. How can its wisdom help us through life's dark moments? Bhagavad Gita for Hard Times offers a practical three- part roadmap based on three core teachings of the Gita, showing us how to: Stop wrestling emotionally with what is so we can start working practically for what can be. Hold our plans lightly and our purpose tightly. Learn to see how God is shaping us through the things that are shaking us. For in the light of divine wisdom, no problem is endless and no pain is pointless. Chaitanya Charan has studied and taught the Gita globally for over three decades and authored more than thirty books.
