We are delighted to announce the release of the latest book by H.G. Bhurijana Prabhu: Toward His Smiling Face: A Detailed Overview of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, Cantos 7-9. Toward His Smiling Face is the last in the Overview of Srimad-Bhagavatam series before we arrive at Canto 10. Cantos 7-9 continue the journey toward “the smiling face of Krşņa,” revealed in Śukadeva Gosvāmī’s pure-hearted account of Krşņa as the fullest expression of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Like the Bhagavatam’s earlier cantos, these three cantos don’t simply fill space until we arrive at Canto Ten. Just as each of Krsna’s limbs has unique charm, so cantos 7-9 provide a rare glimpse into the hearts of exalted devotees and the Lord Himself – drawing us, like travelers coming home, to a face-to-face encounter with Śrī Kṛṣṇa, jewel of Vraja. -
"The cookbook you gave me is great. I use it every time I cook. Easy to follow and ideal for Pujari cooking. Thank you". Your servant Murli Manohara Dasa Head Pujari, Radha-Londonisvara, Hare Krishna Temple, Soho, London. This book is a unique, practical, spiritual, pure vegetarian cookbook with beautiful colour pictures presented with contents, sub-contents and a glossary making it easy to follow. All the dishes are prepared as an offering with prayers to God, Lord Krishna, in His Deity form Sri Sri Radha-Gokulananda at midday (Raja Bhoga). The food becomes sanctified and is called maha prasadam (great mercy) and then distributed. You may say "not another vegetarian cookbook". However this is no ordinary vegetarian cookbook. These recipes have been kept secret for almost 40 years and some have originated from our Grand Spiritual Master His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Srila Prabhupada the Founder-Acharya of ISKCON (International Society for Krishna Consciousness). The recipes shown here have been tried and tested by the author who has cooked in the Deity kitchen for over 15 years. Also included is a special contribution from Mother Kulangana on the secrets to making her world renowned Sri Sri Radha-Gokulananda's magical milk sweets.
